August was a busy month for Typewise with our crowdinvesting campaign on Seedrs going live (and hitting over €1 million from 400+ investors already!) numerous bug fixes and autocorrect enhancements to our keyboard app, and the start of new recruiting activity to expand the Typewise team (interested? Take a look at our open job positions) which, by the way, anyone can help us with and earn $2000 bounty for every successful hire we make.
As of September 2021, we have:
- Raised over €1 million in our Seedrs crowdinvesting campaign – which is still open to investors but may now close at any time so hurry up if you want to join our growth story
- Been covered in major media including: Mashable, Euronews and StartupTicker
- Released improved language detection accuracy on iOS
- Release enhanced autocorrection and word suggestions for dialects on iOS (Typewise will be able to learn dialects which are very different from the main language, for example Swiss-German)
- Released improved correction of compound words in German on iOS
- Fixed: Autocorrection ignoring learned words from user (e.g. Swiss German) on Android
- Fixed: Autocorrection lagging when typing inside a word on Android
- Improved: learning of often used word combinations on iOS
- Added a new Typewise privacy page making it easy for you to see why we’re a privacy keyboard which is 100% secure
- Started recruiting for new roles (have a look at our careers page if you want to join us) and launched our bounty offer (get $2000 for helping us to recruit)
