Typewise vs Salesforce Agentforce

Typewise vs Salesforce Agentforce.

Agentforce is the enterprise default. Salesforce reported $1.2bn of Agentforce ARR in May 2026, up 205% year on year, so the traction is real. The question for most teams is not whether it works. It is whether you have the organisation to configure it.

The short version.

Salesforce Agentforce is the stronger choice if

Salesforce is already your system of record, you want agents deeply wired into that data and those workflows, and you have the internal capacity or the partner budget to configure it properly. At enterprise scale that investment pays back.

Typewise is the stronger choice if

you need AI resolving real requests this month rather than after a configuration project, you want a price you can calculate before you buy, and you would rather add an AI layer on top of your stack than reorganise your business around a platform.

Where each one is stronger.

Where Salesforce Agentforce wins

  • Depth inside Salesforce. If your customer data, cases and workflows already live in Salesforce, nothing reaches into them like Salesforce does. That is a structural advantage we are not going to talk you out of.
  • Enterprise scale and assurance. $1.2bn of Agentforce ARR as of May 2026, up 205% year on year, with the procurement, compliance and partner ecosystem a large organisation expects.
  • One vendor, one roadmap. Salesforce is consolidating CRM, helpdesk and AI agents into a single stack. For a business that wants exactly that, it is a coherent bet.

Where Typewise wins

  • Live in days, not quarters. Agentforce rewards organisations that can run a configuration project. Typewise is set up in plain language and then runs itself, which is what a team of two to twenty actually has capacity for.
  • A price you can work out yourself. Agentforce is quoted against your licensing and usage. Typewise publishes a base plan and a per-resolution meter, so you can model your bill before you speak to anyone.
  • No platform migration. Typewise is the AI layer on top of the stack you already run, including Salesforce. Nothing has to move for it to start resolving.
  • Model agnostic. Typewise orchestrates across OpenAI, Anthropic and Google models and picks per task, rather than tying your support quality to one vendor’s roadmap.
  • European and independent. EU hosting, zero data retention, ISO 27001, and a company that is not consolidating your support stack into its own.

The honest scope note

These two products are not really competing for the same buyer. Agentforce is built for organisations with a Salesforce backbone and the capacity to configure agents against it; Typewise is built for teams who need resolutions running this month without a project.

What you pay for.

1.0

Resolved end to end

Typewise handled the whole request. Full rate.

0.5

Partial hand-off

Typewise got part of the way, a colleague finished it. Half rate.

0

Not moved forward

Typewise did not resolve it. No charge at all.

Agentforce is quoted against your Salesforce licensing and usage, so what you pay depends on a contract rather than a published rate. Typewise’s plan and per-resolution meter are on the pricing page, there is no per-seat fee underneath, and the requests it does not resolve add nothing to the total.

Questions, answered.

For small and mid-size teams, yes. Agentforce is built for large organisations that can invest in configuring it, usually with a partner. Typewise is built to be running on your real queue within days, without a project. If you are a large Salesforce-centric enterprise, Agentforce is the natural choice.

No. Typewise connects to Salesforce alongside many other systems, but it does not require it, and it does not ask you to move your data into a new platform to get value from the AI.

Agentforce pricing depends on your Salesforce licensing and usage and is not something we can quote for you. Typewise publishes its model: a base plan plus a per-resolution meter, with partial resolutions billed at half and unresolved requests billed at nothing.

Agentforce is a configuration project, usually run with an implementation partner. Typewise is set up in plain language and is designed to be resolving real requests within days.
